RESEARCH ASSISTANT: Oh my god.

ME: Hmm?

RESEARCH ASSISTANT: You know that thing, when you forget to save your document…

ME: You mean, when you forget to save?

RESEARCH ASSISTANT: Well, I can’t find it. How do you find it? You know, we always do that thing…

ME: Uh…I’m not sure what you’re talking about.

RESEARCH ASSISTANT: Oh, you know, that thing..where you find the document you forgot to save…

ME: You didn’t save it at all?

RESEARCH ASSISTANT: Well, no. But we always . . . there’s those steps you do to find it . . .

ME: We’ve never successfully . . . found one. We’ve found them when you save them in the wrong location . . .

RESEARCH ASSISTANT: ! We have so! What’s wrong with your memory? You’ve got some sort of brain disease—

ME: At least I can remember to save my documents.

So can anyone help us out here? Is there any hope for retrieving it if she didn’t save it at all
