Chase's Hair is Everywhere -:-OR-:- For Kids, by Kids
The first bit may be a bit boring:
Mother…
That Grow RPG/non-RPG game I linked to in my post last night…I played that thing for at least two hours last night, over chat boxes and emails and reading, sort of detachedly hitting buttons every few minutes. Probably at least 35 rounds, because I'd die and try again. I got to the point where I'd let the animations run while I opened another window and then I'd come back and see the GAME OVER screen.
This morning I've been running it at the edge of my screen. I've probably played that game … well, easily 50 times, very likely more. And just now I played my moves and then, during the big Round 2 animation sequence (after which I always die) I went back to Excel. When I returned to try again my character was marching up to the top of treasure mountain. "What are you doing?!" I almost yelled. But he knew what he was doing: he pulled out a golden sword. And then he slew the demon.
So I pretty much…missed most of the ending I'd been working for. Dammit!
. . .
A dictionary of non-American English. The best is boozer: "A pub, where one might enjoy consuming some booze."
. . .
Don't quit towin till the towin's done.
