Well, it's nice to see that Cricket has gone off the deep end again. I hope this doesn't have anything to do with the impending apocalypse heralded by the destruction of New Orleans.

The big topic at work today: The situation in New Orleans and who's at fault.

Blame blame blame.

It's president Bush's fault that for not giving them more money (and for hating black people).

It's the state government's fault for not being better prepared.

It's the mayor's fault for not evacuating people who didn't have transportation.

It's the racists in the country who want to see all the black people die.

Newsflash New Orleans: YOU BUILT YOUR CITY ON A FUCKING SWAMP IN THE GULF OF MEXICO, WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU THINK WAS GOING TO HAPPEN???

I know...thousands of dead...we need to send relief not lay blame...I have a heart like a jet opal...ect.

I totally agree that we need to send relief to these people. It's horrible and tragic and they need our help and we have a responsibility as their brothers and sisters to help them.

But there is a lot of interest in finding out what went wrong. A lot of people want to point fingers. And they are pointing them in the wrong direction.

If the people of New Orleans want to know why this happened, I have only one thing to say to them.
