What goes on at D-Con...stays at D-con.
Hey,
I was going to construct a long-ass post about how much my weekend fucking rocked, but after considering how long that would take, I decided to relate only highlights to y'all.
LeVar Burton was the MC for the starting festivities.
Hit a couple panels, shows, auctions, etc. Met Kevin Sorbo (Hercules) John Noble (Lord Denathor) Lou Ferrigno (Teh Hulk) and a bunch of other people.
Dressed up. Took pictures of other people dressed up.
Wend "nerdin' it" with Ray Park, who's awesome.
Watched Colassus pitch Wolverine across a room, only for Wolvie to execute some wicked-crazy martial-art syle flips and land all cool- like.
Hung out with Brobdingnagian Bards, Cruxshadows, and the Great Luke Ski.
Went to an awesome sushi place with a bunch of nerds and jammed out to the Numa-Numa song whilst mowing down on raw fish.
Got Drunk. Off my ass. Twice.
Frolicked with stormtroopers, the SG-1 group, and of course, cobra.
Acted as groupie/photographer/saleslady for Sarge and Simmons of Red vs. Blue fame. (Also known as Matt and Gustavo)
Chatted with Ruth Thompson, Chris Moreno, and got interviewed for a radio show.
Made a guest appearance in a Mafia game run by convention buddy, writer, comic artist, and now game-creator, Tony DiGerolamo. He introduced me as "Gabby da Pyro."
It was sweet.

Good times had by all.
Wish you had been there.
