B to the F-er
Scott Pilgrim is the only thing I seem to be able to talk about. The game is worth playing if you enjoyed every beat-em-up game from River City Ransom to Turtles in Time and all that is in between. You will not enjoy it if you are still elitist and won't buy a PS3 or an XBox due to whatever butthurt reasoning you and your elitist ...butt... shut up. The movie is worth seeing, too. The comics are damn well worth reading, to boot.

Work has come to a crawl, again. We are waiting for the bigger projects to return but no such luck of it happening now.

Someone may want me to draw a comic series for them. For cash. I got a very cryptic email today saying I had to give $4000 to a guy in South Africa and they will forward the money to me within weeks. It sounds pretty damn legit.

...hrm. I thought this post would have been longer.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World
I liked it. I liked it a lot. It gave me a nerd erection harder than a sexual Tyrannosaurus.

Chicago Trip Again
So here's the story on the blog because I don't want to have to tell it 10000000000 times. I had agreed to work Sunday-Thursday this week in order to leave for Chicago on Friday. However due to an impacted tooth and a terrible infection in my mouth I missed Sunday and most of Monday. Now I will be unable to make my 40 hours by Thursday thus putting our trip in kind of a spot. I really wanted to come up on Friday and go see a friends band play but that isn't a possibility now. This leaves you guys with two options.

1. Leave Friday as planned without me and I will meet you Saturday afternoon.

2. Wait till Saturday morning to leave after I get off work @ 8:30.

The choice is yours and it's the choice of a new generation. I will be sending you all a text telling you look at the blog so you are aware of the situation.

If you should choose to leave with me on Saturday I would strongly advise you stay the night at my house the night before to simplify things(except Dave for the obvious reasons) If you should choose not to stay at my house the train(Shannon's car) is leaving promptly @ 9:00 AM or before. If you wish to be picked up from your home(except Amish who lives too far away) please be ready to go when I arrive as I'm not going to do alot of waiting around for people. Since we will probably only be in town for 24 hours or so I would like to maximize my time there. I apologize again for all the inconvenience it has been tough trying to make this trip happen. Next time we will need to come up with an easier way to arrange things.

Also next summer I might try to plan a trip to Cedar Point if anybody is interested.

cubans
What's up, Bloggistas and Bloggistos? Did you know Subway has a new Cuban sandwich?

I did!

But did you know the fucking thing doesn't exist in Florida?

I didn't!

I did after I got to the Subway ten minutes from my office and ordered a TBG (that's a turkey/bacon/guacamole, idiot). Then I ate it. It was good and a little disgusting and then it was disgusting and a little. I read Jonathan Lethem's Amnesia Moon while I ate it, and that helped.

I am frickin up on Thursday but the lame thing is that I have to get up early tomorrow. I've been exhausted this week and swallowing coffee after coffee and now I'm glittery with energy and I should really go to bed soon. I've been sleeping like a crazy person lately, wakign up and feeling like I haven't slept at all, and the couch is too short but I try it anyway. People outside yell at each other and then when it quiets down it's so quiet you get woken up by the cat acting strange. Last night I dreamt this butterfly was knocking against the window or it could have really happened. My dreams have kind of been melding with reality lately or not happening at all so that it feels like hours have passed and they haven't or the opposite.
Good for you
I may be sleepwalking. I have this recurring dream about a flash of light outside and me floating. Then I seem to wake up in odd places around my apartment...until last night, when I wound up outside in the grassy area. The weird part is that I'm in clothes when I wake up, and it's usually around 4 or five. I read somewhere sleepwalkers usually wake up on their backs, which I do.

Also, that recurring dream gets a word stuck in my head: butterfly. I can't get back to sleep so I've taken to turning on the TV (sometimes it is already on...but the cable box is out) and watching the news. It sucks because I'm losing out on a couple hours of sleep.

Seriously: this shit is getting old.

IN OTHER NEWS: next weekend should be fun! We need to make sure Amish knows what's going on.
